Mint | Visual Redesign
Mint was an industry leading app for personal finance that allowed users to connect all of their financial accounts in one place, while allowing them to keep track of and control their monthly budget.
Our team worked on the ground up redesign not only of the app itself, but all marketing and consumer facing content, which went on to win us a Webby Award for best Visual Design in 2021.
Design principles
Keep it simple
Strive to reduce visual clutter in an already complex problem space. Leverage customer data to prefill and make recommendations.
Make it obvious
We know customers are task focused when logging into Mint. Our visuals should make goals and topics obvious and easy to access.
Celebrate all wins
Reward customers for all steps taken into forming better spending habits. (e.g. Signing up for a goal)
