TurboTax Visual Refresh
TurboTax is an industry leader offering DIY and expert guided preparation of income tax returns, as well as connecting multiple different products like Credit Karma, Quickbook and others.
For this project our team was tasked with creating a visual refresh to deliver an exceptional product experience that is motivational, user-friendly, evokes positive emotions, and ensures end-to-end continuity.
The brief
We will signal innovative changes that include more personalization and GenAI capabilities through a refresh of our visual design language.
The visual design will make our product feel more human and modern, provide end-to-end continuity, and be uniquely TurboTax.

My Role
I was part of the core visual design team that worked on this project exclusively for the better part of a year in 2023. Our team was in constant contact with many cross functional partners such as project managers, dev/ops, marketing, content, legal and many other stakeholders to determine feasibility and get other perspectives on what we were designing.
